What is the Glory Star Visitor Management System (VMS)?

A complete visitor management stack from a single vendor: the VMS cloud console inside Star Control, a native Android kiosk app, and commercial touchscreen hardware. Visitors pre-register or walk in, check in by QR or PIN, answer screening questions, sign agreements and receive a printed badge — while your team manages every site from one console.

Which hardware does Glory Star VMS run on?

Glory Star commercial Android touchscreens from 10″ to 43″: the Nebula series (10.1″, 15.6″, 21.5″ all-in-one touchscreen computers), the Infinitus INF series (32″ and 43″ touchscreen signage), the Magnetar MAG series (IP65 outdoor touchscreens, −30 °C to 70 °C) and the VOD series. Landscape and portrait are both supported, set per device in the cloud.

How is the VMS connected to Star Control?

Every kiosk enrolls into Star Control MDM at provisioning and receives its site and device assignment. Star Control pushes all configuration — homepage design, visitor types, screening questions, agreements, badge templates — and provides remote access, OTA updates, STAROS kiosk lockdown, GPS, scheduling and Star Guard quarterly security patches for five years.

Does the kiosk work offline?

Yes. The last valid configuration is cached on-device, so check-in continues through network outages and syncs on reconnect. Even a missing badge printer never blocks a visitor — the check-in is recorded and reception is flagged.

Can it print visitor badges?

Yes. Design the badge in the cloud Badge Designer — text, photo, QR code, validity window — and print at the kiosk over ESC/POS USB thermal printers, vendor SDK printer modules (built into INF models) or network printers. Typical print time is under 3 seconds.

Does it support GDPR and compliance requirements?

The VMS includes consent capture with e-signature, configurable retention policies, watchlist screening with silent security alerts, privacy-protecting host lookup, and audit-ready digital visitor logs. Enterprise adds ID scanning, a full audit suite and data-residency options.
